Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American television, film and theatre actor. Her most well-known performances include The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) and True Detective. Elizabeth was raised and born in the Michigan coast of US. Since she was a child she longed to become an actor. Following her graduation at the age of 16, she pursued a degree in acting in the Juilliard School. She graduated with a degree in fine arts. As a guest on The Sopranos she had her debut TV appearance. In the following years, she was a guest in other shows that were successful, such as The Jury Hack, Standoff, and The Jury. When she landed the role as Alice Alden on the 2006 show Saved the career of her character took off. The actress then played important parts on Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife as well as True Detective. Also, she was in movies such as Liberal Arts One and Two as well as the five episodes of The Twilight Saga.
Jessica's interest for film and television was first noticed at a young and easily influenced age. Modeling was the beginning of her profession. In Australia the casting director looked for models to interviewed. The role she was offered was "Kiki" in Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girls. Since then, she's played smaller roles in films like Peter Pan, Aquamarine and many other films. Roman Empire was a Netflix original show in which she was the lead character Cleopatra. She also appeared in the famous Pirates of the Caribbean film: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica landed a worldwide search for the lead role in The Outpost. An audition tape was sent to the producers, along with another tape of her doing MMA. They wanted to know if she could do sword fights and she was able to send them an image of sword fighting. Jessica was able to read the script before recording her first weapons lesson. According to Jonathan Glassner, the stunt team was surprised at how well she performed during her initial lesson. The Outpost was her first big role in the US since her prior filmographies were in Australia. Jessica's expertise in mixed martial arts, weapons and horse riding and her capability to perform stunts, allow her to portray an impressive female persona. She has studied boxing and muay Thai as well as trains at the gym for mixed martial arts in Australia. Jake Stormoen, who was shooting Season 4 of the show, met a stray puppy that wandered around on sets. The one dog turned out to be a part of an entire litter of puppies, who had taken housing in the sets. Jessica accepted two of the pups.
